Kayuragi Pomegranate incense is a fresh, sour and fruity scented incense made by Japanese incense manufacturer, Nippon Kodo.

This unusually fruity incense certainly packs a punch, with its fresh and sour notes. The zing of pomegranate is reflected in its striking packaging design too, in a wooden Paulownia boxwhich feature bright stripes in shades of red and purple – a design that’s inspired by traditional Japanese kimono fabrics. 

The 40 incense sticks come with a small incense stick holder, so make an ideal gift.

The “ka” part of the name relates to fragrance, whereas “yuragi” means smoke – translated as ‘fragranced smoke’, this sums up the nature of the incense very well.
