KAYURAGI JAPANESE INCENSE | WISTERIA
Kayuragi Wisteria incense is a beautifully floral fragranced incense produced in Japan by Nippon Kodo.
It’s part of the Kayuragi range, where Ka (fragrance) meets with Yuragi (slowly wafting scented smoke). The Kayuragi incense sticks are clean burning – they have no bamboo centre and benefit from having pure scent. Each stick is estimated to burn for about 25 minutes.
The Wisteria incense fragrance is floral and powdery and the sticks come packed in a beautifully decorated Paulownia wood box. The box design and colours are inspired by traditional Japanese kimono fabrics.
The Kayuragi Wisteria incense is an ideal gift for those new to incense burning, as it comes complete with a small incense stick holder.
The Kayuragi Osmanthus incense is a superior quality product and produced without a bamboo centre, so it provides a more clean burning experience.
The “ka” part of the name relates to fragrance, whereas “yuragi” means smoke – translated as ‘fragranced smoke’, this sums up the nature of the incense very well.
